Empowerment for 2012

2012 is right around the corner! Before the new year I choose an empowering word (or two) to focus on for the next year. My empowering word for 2012 is GROWTH.
These are some of the things I do to focus:

• I make a sign with the word on it so I can look at it daily (decorate, add other words, have fun with it)
• I make a broad list of things I’d like to accomplish.
• I take that broad list and make a dream board then put it up on the wall in my office.
• I then break that broad list down into more manageable weekly goals.
• Every morning before getting out of bed I do one of two things – A) Already know what I’m going to do that day (no matter how small) toward my goal for (insert word/s here) or B) Ask my spirit guides, angels, God, Goddess, whatever you believe in – to direct me toward my goal.
• Every evening I take a few minutes to reflect on my accomplishments for the day.

Empowerment for 2012

No matter how small of a step you take, you are making progress toward your goal.  Remember no step is too small!  Always have confidence in yourself and be your best cheerleader because you deserve it.  So many of us don’t take the time to acknowledge how amazing we really are and it makes a tremendous difference in your outlook on things.  Empower your inner DIVA – she wants to shine so let her!
