Come join me to de-stress and unwind with guided meditations.  Daily meditation practice has shown to reduce stress and tension, improve focus, increase your self esteem, and many other benefits.  Join this weekly session to get you started or to enhance your current meditation practice – beginners are welcome.

I love all kinds of cards for divination whether oracle or tarot.  Your subconscious knows exactly what you need and how to get there and when you’re focusing on a specific area of your life then the cards pick up on it and show you how to get there.  Now whether you take that advice is up to you, everything is free will and can be changed by the drop of a hat but you’ll be surprised what you can accomplish by listening and getting creative. This reward plan was put in place to make it easier to take care of yourself and it’s very simple.  You can earn rewards one of two ways:

• On your fifth session with me you will receive a 20% discount.

This applies to any type of session you choose.  Example:  You have done 3 hypnosis sessions, 1 Reiki session and now want to try coaching – you can use this on the same sessions or mix it up the choice is yours.

2012 has been flying by, I’ve been so busy with clients and launching Freda’s Potions plus coming up with all kinds of goodies for this year, it’s all very exciting.  I will also be launching hypnosis and meditation CDs in 2012 – this way there is no excuses from anybody living far away and not being able to come to the office.

Empowerment for 2012

2012 is right around the corner! Before the new year I choose an empowering word (or two) to focus on for the next year. My empowering word for 2012 is GROWTH.
These are some of the things I do to focus:

• I make a sign with the word on it so I can look at it daily (decorate, add other words, have fun with it)
• I make a broad list of things I’d like to accomplish.
• I take that broad list and make a dream board then put it up on the wall in my office.
• I then break that broad list down into more manageable weekly goals.
• Every morning before getting out of bed I do one of two things – A) Already know what I’m going to do that day (no matter how small) toward my goal for (insert word/s here) or B) Ask my spirit guides, angels, God, Goddess, whatever you believe in – to direct me toward my goal.
• Every evening I take a few minutes to reflect on my accomplishments for the day.

Empowerment for 2012

No matter how small of a step you take, you are making progress toward your goal.  Remember no step is too small!  Always have confidence in yourself and be your best cheerleader because you deserve it.  So many of us don’t take the time to acknowledge how amazing we really are and it makes a tremendous difference in your outlook on things.  Empower your inner DIVA – she wants to shine so let her!

How Numerology Can Benefit You

Numerology is a great way for you to understand your strengths and weaknesses; what you can be and how to get there. It helps you understand yourself in a unique way. According to numerology, all the information you need is contained within your cosmic name and your birth date. Your name, given to you at birth, is referred to as a ‘cosmic name’. It mirrors your talents, goals and paths – basically, some of the reasons behind your existence.

The Birth Date

One significant factor in numerology is the day on which you were born. It doesn’t matter what month or year it was, only the day is significant. This will give the numerologist a very accurate idea of the traits which characterize you.

The Soul Urge

This is found by putting together all the vibrations created by the vowels in your name. From the Soul Urge you can divine a person’s motivations and goals, their longings and dreams.

Healing With Crystals and Reiki

Reiki healing uses crystals to help stimulate the energy in the body and to speed up the healing process. In Reiki, crystals are laid out on the client’s body. The layout is based on the seven colors and their corresponding chakras.

Laying the Stones On

This is done to release the mental, emotional and spiritual blocks to a person’s state of well being. If the client feels uncomfortable when a crystal used for healing is laid on their body, then it is moved to another position or removed.

Balancing the Chakra

A simple way to balance the chakra in your body is to place an appropriate stone on the chakra on your body. This gives the chakra a boost. Healers believe that the connection between the chakra and the stones will heal the body from its inflictions. Just by placing a stone on the seven important chakras, you can strengthen your whole system.

The Chakra Layout

A red stone is always placed at the base of the spine. Sometimes, Reiki healers opt to put two similar red stones at the top of each leg. This is for the base chakra.

The lower abdomen or the sacral chakra must have a stone which is orange.

On the solar plexus or stomach, a yellow stone is ideal. It is placed between the ribcage and the navel. If there is a gathering of tension in this region, stones which shift energy – like tiger’s eye and quartz – can be used to create an energy release.

A green stone can be used for the central or chest region to balance out the heart chakra. Pink stones can be used for emotional cleansing.

Light blue stones are good for the throat chakra. They are placed at the bottom of the throat and at the tip of the breastbone.

Dark blue stones or indigo stones are used on the forehead. Amethyst or other purple stones can also be used.

The crown chakra requires a stone to be placed slightly above the crown of the head. If you’ve selected amethyst for the forehead, clear quartz would be ideal for the crown. But if you used a dark blue stone on your forehead, a purple stone is preferable for the crown.

Reiki’s Influence on Your Aura

The universe is described by quantum physics as energy. This energy surrounds you and occupies the space near your body. Energy that interacts with you at psychological and spiritual levels is called aura. It is able to do this via channels known as chakras. When you go for a Reiki treatment, the practitioner energizes you by helping the chakras release blocked energy.

There are seven chakras in your body and aura. They are situated along the direction of your spine – starting at the base and ending at the top of the head. They have corresponding energy levels. The vibration and speed of the energy typically increases with the level. As the chakras are present in your aura too, Reiki can affect the flow of energy through it.

How Does Reiki Affect Your Aura?

Prior to a Reiki treatment, your aura is likely to extend only a few decimeters away from your body. An attunement session in Reiki with your practitioner can help make your aura strong. This can expand your aura to as much as three feet. Along with this, the session can help improve your ability to make changes in your life based on your intuition. This can go a long way in empowering you and enabling you to take control of your life.

Reiki also has an effect on the various layers of the aura. Some of the layers are the causal body, celestial body, etheric template body and astral body. These are layers that you cannot see, but are influenced by changes in your energy level. During a Reiki session, the Reiki practitioner uses techniques that help make the flow of energy optimal. The practitioner is able to do this because she serves as a channel for the energy to flow through to you.
